NEW YORK (AP) — Christian Sengfelder had 17 points and eight rebounds, Ryan Rhoomes added 14 points and eight boards, and Fordham beat Division II Queens College 76-57 on Tuesday night.

Diego Maldonado's 3-pointer early in the second half pulled Queens College within 45-32, but Fordham answered with a 9-0 run.

Jon Severe also scored 14 points and Mandell Thomas added 13 for Fordham (1-1). The Rams shot 55 percent from the field and made 11 steals.

Severe and Sengfelder had 12 points apiece for Fordham in the first half. The Rams built a 41-27 lead after shooting 56 percent from the field. Severe made three of Fordham's six first-half 3-pointers.

Tyree White had 13 points, five rebounds, eight assists and five steals for Queens. The Knights turned it over 23 times.
