TUCSON, Ariz. — Tenth-ranked Utah couldn't pull it together against unranked Arizona for the fourth-consecutive season. In a Pac-12 South battle in Tucson, the Utes (8-2, 5-2 Pac-12) couldn't capitalize on opportunities the Wildcats (6-5, 3-5) gave them.

Social media was a whirlwind of emotion throughout the game. Here is a look at how Twitter handled Utah's second loss of the season.

With a poor offensive start, running back Devontae Booker seemed like Utah's only hope for a win. He scored his 11th touchdown of the season on a first quarter one-yard rush. Booker finished the night with 34 carries for 145 yards — his 14th career 100-yard rushing game, tying the school record set by John White. He left the game in the third quarter, returning after a ride on the stationary bike, but didn't have a run longer than 13 yards.

Steady dosage of Booker is my prescription for this game. #UTAHvsAZ — Grant Bagby (@GrantTBS) November 15, 2015

Hurdlin' Booker even made an appearance in Arizona Stadium.

By the end of the first quarter, Utah was behind Arizona 10 points. Then the momentum shifted. Just before halftime, receiver Kenneth Scott scored a clutch touchdown catch, diminishing the Wildcats' lead to 20-17.

The Utes did, in fact, take advantage of starting the second half with the ball. Quarterback Travis Wilson connected with tight end Harrison Handley for a 59-yard touchdown. It gave the Utes their first lead of the game at 24-20 and gave Wilson the school's all-time passing touchdown record at 73.

On the next drive, Arizona quarterback Anu Solomon was on his way to leading his team to another score. Utah cornerback Brian Allen had a different plan, coming up with an interception in the end zone.

WOW! That interception was a thing of beauty! #UTAHvsAZ — IKE. (@Isaac_A_Meyers) November 15, 2015

The rest of the game continued to be a rollercoaster that included poor calls by officials and penalties, which were given out like candy. To top it off, the game went into double overtime. With Solomon leaving earlier in the game after a helmet-to-helmet hit — which wasn't called for a penalty — Arizona relied on backup quarterback Jerrard Randall. He threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to receiver Nate Phillips on the first play of the second overtime. It was his only completion of the game and sealed the win.

Utah now ties with USC — who holds the tiebreaker after a 42-24 win October 24 — for the Pac-12 South title. The Utes play UCLA in another south division showdown next week at Rice-Eccles Stadium, knowing they have to win if there is any hope of regaining the division lead.
