SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) — Juli Inkster beat Laura Davies 67-71 on Saturday to help the United States top the World team 26-22 in the Legends Tour's ISPS Handa Cup.

Inkster teamed with Pat Hurst on Friday to win two matches and the United States took a 16-8 lead into the 10 singles matches at Palm Aire Country Club.

Beth Daniel, Danielle Ammaccapane, Michele Redman and Christa Johnson also won matches for the United States. Daniel beat Liselotte Neumann 67-75, Ammaccapane edged Jenny Lidback 71-74, Redman topped Lorie Kane 68-71, and Johnson beat Jan Stephenson 73-75.

Scotland's Catriona Matthew had the biggest victory of the day, routing Hurst 65-78.

The United States leads the series 8-1-1.
