LDS mission president's wife dies in Ghana

PROVO, Utah (AP) — The wife of a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints mission president has died while serving in Ghana.

The Daily Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1SeVNSl ) that Ruth Hill had been serving in the Ghana Accra Mission with her husband, President Norman Hill, when she died Sunday due to a medical condition.

Church spokeswoman, Eric Hawkins, says the couple is from the Klein Texas Stake and had served together in the mission since 2013.

Ruth Hill was born in Ogden. The Hills have five children.
