UNDATED (AP) — Clemson is the top team in the new Associated Press Top-25 football poll. The 9-0 Tigers have replaced Ohio State, which had been No. 1 the entire season. Rounding out the top five are Alabama, Baylor and Oklahoma State.

IRVING, Texas (AP) — This evening's NFL game has the Cowboys playing host to the Eagles in an NFC East game. In the standings the Cowboys are tops with a record of 4-4 with the Eagles right behind at 3-4.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — In the early going of the Sprint Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway, pole sitter Brad Keselowski (kehs-LOW'-skee) has maintained the lead. He stood in first at the 70-lap mark of the 334-lap race. Joey Logano is off to a bad start with early tire problems.

SHANGHAI (AP) — Russell Knox of Scotland was the winner earlier today in the PGA's HSBC Championship in China. Not bad for a guy who only got in by being named an alternate. The victory was worth $1.4 million and gives Knox a spot in the Masters next spring.

SHIMA, Japan (AP) — The LPGA's Japan Classic is over and the winner was South Korea's Sun-Ju Ahn. She beat fellow South Korean Ji-Hee Lee and American Angela Stanford with a birdie on the first hole of a playoff.
