LONDON (AP) — Britain's foreign minister says there is a "significant possibility" that the crash of a Russian airliner in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula was caused by a bomb. And a U.S. official says the tentative conclusion is based in part on intercepted communications. The plane crashed Saturday after taking off from the Sinai resort of Sharm el-Sheikh and was headed to St. Petersburg. All 224 people aboard were killed.

They're bracing for their opponents in other states to try to follow the same strategy used by opponents in Houston. Voters in America's fourth largest city rejected a broad equal-rights ordinance. Opponents prevailed with a campaign that dubbed the measure "the bathroom ordinance" and raised the specter of male sexual predators invading women's restrooms.
