Prosser middle school locked down briefly for gun in locker

PROSSER, Wash. (AP) — Officials say a school about 30 miles west of Richland was on lockdown for about 90 minutes after a student reported a gun on campus.

KEPR-TV reports (http://goo.gl/DsYkiI ) Prosser Police found a gun inside a locker at Housel Middle School Wednesday. The school remained in lockdown from about noon to 1:30 p.m. as police investigated.

Officials say the students police believe to be involved have been questioned by police.
