Utah stays put at No. 13 in latest AP Poll

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah improved to 7-1 on the season Saturday after defeating Oregon State 27-12. The win helped Utah stay put in the latest national rankings.

Utah stayed at to No. 13 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and at No. 14 in the Amway USA Today Coaches Poll. Utah awaits the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season which will be released Tuesday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

Utah also stayed put at No. 13 in the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Rankings and at No. 14 in the ESPN power rankings.

Utah is still one of three Pac-12 teams ranked in both polls with Stanford being the highest-ranked team in the conference at No. 9 in the AP Poll and No. 8 in the Coaches Poll. The Cardinal are followed by Utah (No. 13/14) and UCLA (No. 22/22). Three teams from the Pac-12 received votes this week, including USC, Oregon and Washington State.

Ohio State remains the No. 1 team following a bye week. The Buckeyes received 39 first-place votes. The Buckeyes are followed by Baylor, Clemson, LSU, and TCU in the AP Poll.
