DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) — Crittenden wore down pacesetter Acceptance in a prolonged stretch duel to win the $82,150 Let It Ride Stakes for 3-year-olds by a neck Saturday at Del Mar.
Ridden by Martin Garcia, Crittenden ran a mile on the infield turf course in 1:34.56 and paid $9.80, $5 and $3.
Acceptance returned $7 and $4.40 in his first race since January, while Perfectly Majestic paid $2.40 to show.
The victory, worth $46,440, increased Crittenden's career earnings to $172,615, with four wins in 11 starts for owner Godolphin Racing.
Ground Rules, the 5-2 favorite, finished last.
