A report in Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica has claimed that Pope Benedict XVI is to write a book about Jesus.
According to Reuters, the book is being written by the Pope during his holiday in the Italian Alps between 11 and 28 July.
No title or publication date have been announced. The Vatican has not yet commented on the report.
