GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Jacob Knipp ran for three scores and threw for a fourth as Northern Colorado rolled over UC Davis 56-27 on Saturday.

Knipp finished with 186 yards passing and 43 yards rushing for the Bears (4-2, 2-2 Big Sky). Brandon Cartagena had 112 yards rushing, ran for two touchdowns and caught a pass from Knipp for another.

Knipp and Cartagena teamed up for six touchdowns before the break, including Cartagena's 57-yard TD run and 34-yard scoring reception in the first quarter, to lead Northern Colorado to a 42-3 lead at halftime.

Hakeem Deggs scored on a 75-yard run midway through the third quarter and Darius Graham ran it in from a yard out later in the third to seal the win.

Ben Scott threw for 154 yards for the Aggies (1-6, 1-3).
