Stanton leads Harvard over Lafayette 42-0

EASTON, Pa. (AP) — Paul Stanton, Jr. ran for two touchdowns as Harvard remained undefeated, rolling over Lafayette 42-0 on Saturday.

Stanton had 123 yards on 18 carries for the Crimson (5-0). Scott Hosch threw for 272 yards and a scoring pass to Ben Braunecker who finished with 123 yards receiving. Hosch also ran for a score. Harvard finished with 500 yards in offense while the defense held Lafayette to just 197 total yards.

Stanton rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the first half and Hosch added a third, sending Harvard into the break leading 21-0.

Hosch hit Braunecker for a 32-yard score midway through the third quarter and Seitu Smith took it in from 6 yards to give the Crimson a 35-0 advantage. Noah Reimers 4-yard touchdown run early in the fourth sealed the Harvard win.

Drew Reed threw for 215 yards for the Leopards (1-6).
