ELKO, Nev. (AP) — Elko County authorities have apprehended two youths who escaped from a juvenile corrections facility.
Undersheriff Clair Morris told the Elko Daily Free Press (http://tinyurl.com/ncmr8mn) the two boys ages 15 and 16 were taken into custody about 11:40 a.m. Thursday near a church off of the Mountain City Highway.
They escaped from the Nevada Youth Training Center near Elko at about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Adobe Middle School was placed under a temporary lock down after two teens fitting their description were seen in the area about 6:30 a.m. Thursday, but the lockdown was lifted hours later.
