LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky authorities say a report of shots fired on a college campus turned out to be unfounded.
Louisville police gave students at the Jefferson Community and Technical College the all-clear Friday afternoon, about an hour after they received a call about an "active aggressor" on campus.
Louisville Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell says authorities received a call about 3:30 p.m. Police did sweeps of a campus building but nothing was found.
Mitchell says the caller reported hearing a loud boom or possibly shots fired. He says police will speak again with the caller.
