LAS VEGAS (AP) — A woman has died after being struck by a vehicle in northeast Las Vegas.
KSNV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1MgreNd ) Las Vegas police Sgt. Richard Strader says the victim was hit Thursday night as she was trying to straddle two traffic lanes. She was not in a crosswalk.
A witness says the driver immediately stopped his vehicle and pulled over.
Strader says pedestrians and bikers should be careful and use crosswalks to avoid being hit.
