ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — The University of Michigan is getting roughly $11.3 million in grants from the National Science Foundation for research projects including manufacturing and election fraud.
U.S. Rep. Debbie Dingell's office said in a news release Thursday that the grants will go to eight projects. That includes about $5.8 million for a project on needs of the manufacturing research community, and about $648,000 for one researching empirical models of election frauds.
Other projects among those receiving grant funding are ones on fluid mechanics and upper atmospheric models.
