MELBOURNE, Ark. (AP) — Gov. Asa Hutchinson has appointed a banker from Melbourne to the Ozarka College Board of Trustees.

The appointment of Ryan Howard was announced Wednesday by the college.

Howard attended Ozarka College before graduating from Arkansas State University and is now executive vice president of Bancorp South. His seven-year term as a trustee will expire in 2022.

The college also announced the election of Mike Watson of Ash Flat to a three-year term as chair of the Ozarka College Foundation Board of Directors.
