SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be in Salt Lake City next month to speak at a fundraiser for a Utah crisis pregnancy center.
Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate, will be the keynote speaker at the Oct. 2 event at the Grand America Hotel.
The fundraiser is a private event for the Pregnancy Resource Center of Salt Lake City, an anti-abortion center that is affiliated with an Evangelical Christian ministry.
Palin has spoken out about her anti-abortion beliefs as the mother of a child with Down syndrome and the parent of an unwed teen mother.
Tickets for the event start at $100 and sponsored tables run up to $5,000.
