MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia University is expanding parking at the Evansdale campus as part of a redevelopment project.

The university says a new 140-space short-term parking lot for faculty, staff and students will be completed in a few weeks.

A 98-space lot has re-opened.

The university plans to construct additional parking spaces around the new Evansdale Crossing.

The Evansdale redevelopment includes the construction of parking lots, new buildings, roadways and intersections.
