FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -- Jeff Cunningham and Jason Kreis scored goals within a three-minute span early in the second half as Real Salt Lake got a 3-1 victory over the New England Revolution on Friday night.
Salt Lake (4-9-4) snapped a six-match losing streak with the win.
Cunningham scored his eighth goal of the season in the 52nd minute with a 12-yard shot.
Kreis followed in the 55th minute with his sixth goal of the season, converting a corner kick from the left side taken by Andy Williams.
Salt Lake took a 1-0 halftime lead when Chris Klein scored his second goal of the season in the 15th minute. The goal ended a 260-minute scorelees streak.
New England (6-6-6) played without U.S. World Cup member Clint Dempsey, serving a one-game suspension.
Taylor Twellman scored his eighth goal of the season, taking a pass from Andy Dorman in the 57th minute for the Revolution.
New England totaled eight corner kicks, four in each half, while Twellman had a shot bang off the crossbar in the 33rd minute.
