RENO, Nev. (AP) — Authorities say the body of a 28-year-old man has been recovered from Pyramid Lake, about 40 miles northeast of Reno.
KRNV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1MOCBfh ) rescue crews found the body at North Nets beach after a nearly three-hour search Sunday night. Officials say the man drowned.
The man, whose name hasn't been released, had been walking in knee-deep water alongside his wife before he fell from a drop off into 8-10 feet deep of water.
Officials say the woman was able to make it to shore safely. Neither of them knew how to swim.
