LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified the body of a missing fisherman found at Lake Mead as 67-year-old James Schafer of Henderson.

KSNV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1PrWCpj ) that Schafer's body was recovered Tuesday by divers using an underwater camera.

Schafer's empty boat was discovered drifting in the water at Lake Mead National recreation Area on Aug. 10.

The Clark County coroner's office is performing an autopsy. After that, an official cause of death can be determined.

The National Park Service says Schafer launched his boat around 4 a.m. Aug. 10 at Callville Bay in Nevada. Thirteen hours later, his boat was found about 16 miles from Calville Bay.
