SPORTSVILLE — Today's sports roundup has some nice gifts from Urban Meyer and LeBron James, a superstar in the making, and some friendly advice for autograph seekers. Welcome to From Left Field!

1. Urban Meyer gives his players a snack pack after practice, just like the kids

This video is awesome. Urban Meyer, now coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes, apparently gives his players snacks after practice.

As a kid, I would have loved to get carrots, Skittles, and a juice box after every practice. As an adult, I would love it even more.

Let the record show that the juice box was the most popular of the contents.

2. LeBron James' gift makes tough football coach cry

The Kenmore Cardinals, a high school football team from Akron, Ohio, were happily shocked when the LeBron James foundation donated new uniforms from head to toe.

Kenmore coach Kemp Boyd wrote LeBron James a letter about his football team's turning around, "and you see what happened."

Watch the video above to see the presentation.

The players were grateful, too:

3\. This 12-year-old is the next soccer star ===========================================

We don't know his name, but this 12-year-old from the Besiktas academy in Turkey has got the moves, and then an insane shot on him to boot.

4. Don't tailgate Steph Curry to get an autograph

It's pretty straightforward: if you want to get an athlete's autograph, it's probably not a good strategy to make him mad by tailgating for nearly 30 miles (!) beforehand.

PSA. Noticeably following my family's car on the road for nearly 30 miles & tailing me the whole way is not the best way to get an autograph — Stephen Curry (@StephenCurry30) August 19, 2015
