You don't need a tornado to find the Land of Oz. This summer, all it takes is a visit to Sundance Mountain Resort. From July 23-August 15, Sundance Summer Theatre, in partnership with Utah Valley University, will present The Wizard of Oz in Sundance's outdoor amphitheater.
The Wizard of Oz is the eighth musical produced by Sundance and UVU, a partnership established in 2008. The two organizations draw on accomplished community actors and skilled UVU and Sundance professionals to create a dynamic and colorful show. Sundance and UVU continue a long tradition of community theatre said Sundance Programming Manager and Summer Theatre Co-producer Mari Turner.
Sundance's outdoor amphitheater venue adds a realistic touch to the performance. Nestled in the mountains among the trees, guests will feel like they are traipsing through the Haunted Forest with Dorothy and her friends.
