ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman has again landed on the disabled list, this time with an oblique injury.

Freeman was injured fouling off a ball Monday against the Giants and was removed from the game. Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said the two-time All-Star is on his way to Orlando to rehab the injury and will return as soon as possible. He was placed on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday.

Freeman missed 30 games earlier this season with a wrist injury and the Braves went 13-17. In 76 games, he is batting .284 with 14 home runs and 45 RBIs.

The Braves also placed right-handed relief pitcher Jason Frasor on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right shoulder.

The Braves recalled first baseman Joey Terdoslavich and rookie right-hander Ryan Kelly from Triple-A Gwinnett.
