1. Dates/Eligibility. The KSL 5 TV & Utah Museum of Fine Arts "Future Masters Contest" (the "Contest") begins June 23, 2008 and ends August 1, 2008. KSL 5 TV (the "Station") may change the dates and/or terms of the Contest without prior notice. Any material changes will be posted on a page at www.ksl.com (the "Site"). The Contest is open to all legal U.S. residents eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and who are the parent or legal guardian of a child six (6) years of age to fourteen (14) years of age. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase a contestant's chance of winning. The Contest is void where prohibited by law. Employees or agents of the Station, Bonneville International Corporation, any entity associated with the sponsorship or administration of the Contest (collectively, the "Sponsors") or any other television or radio station that serves the Salt Lake City, Utah area, as well as members of the same household of any such employee or agent, are ineligible to participate.

  1. How to Enter. Beginning June 23, 2008, and continuing until approximately 11:59 p.m. July 25, 2008, contestants can enter the Contest by either: (a) visiting the Site and submitting a digital photograph of original art or (b) hand delivering or mailing original works of art or photographs of original art created solely by the contestant's child along with their name, address, age, telephone number, and email address to Utah Museum of Fine Art, 410 Campus Center Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84112. The Museum will upload the images onto the site and return original pieces of art to the contestants at the conclusion of the contest. The ksl.com submission must be accompanied by a digital photograph of original art created solely by the contestant's child. (As noted above, the contestant's child must be between the ages of six (six) and 14 (fourteen) years of age). Once submitted, the Station shall have a non-exclusive right and license in perpetuity to use the photograph, or any portion thereof, in any and all media throughout the universe. The Station will discard any entries that do not meet the requirements for submission or which the Station suspects were submitted without the consent of both the contestant and the contestant's child.

  1. Selection of Winners. There will be five (5) finalists selected from each of the three (3) age categories. One category will be for children aged six (6) to eight (8) years old. One category will be for children aged nine (9) to eleven (11) years old. One category will be for children aged twelve (12) to fourteen (14) years old. On or about July 25, 2008 a panel of representatives from the Utah Museum of Fine Arts will select five (5) finalists from each of the three (3) age categories. The Station will attempt to contact each winner as soon as possible using the information provided on the entry form. If the Station is unable to timely contact a winner, or if the winner is unable to use their prize, the Station may select an alternate finalist. People will then have the opportunity to vote for the finalists on the Site. The top three (3) winners who receive the most online votes from each of the three (3) age categories will be notified on August 1, 2008.

  1. Prizes. A total of nine (9) prizes will be awarded in the Contest. The winning art artwork will be featured on the August 6, 2008 segment of the KSL 5 TV Show, "Studio 5". Each winner will also be invited to attend a workshop at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts taught by a notable regional artist. The date of the workshop is to be determined. There is no approximate value of the prizes awarded. The prize is not transferable, subject to substitution or redeemable for cash, except at the discretion of the Station.

  1. Conditions/Restrictions. In exchange for the right to participate in the Contest, each contestant agrees to release and indemnify each of the Sponsors, and the officers, directors, agents, parent companies, subsidiaries and employees of each of the Sponsors, for, from and against any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that arise out of the contestant's participation in the Contest. Entry into the Contest constitutes permission for each Sponsor and its designees to use the contestant's name, likeness, portrait, voice and/or biographical material for an unlimited period of time in order to advertise, promote or publicize the Sponsor and/or the products and services of any of its designees. Prize winner will be required to produce identification satisfactory to the Station and sign an affidavit of eligibility and a release (including a publicity release) as prepared by the Station. Anyone using fraudulent means to participate in and/or win the Contest will be subject to disqualification. The Sponsors are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone or other transmission failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections or incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission, regardless of cause. The Station reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the Contest should a virus, bug or other problem beyond the control of the Station corrupt the administration, security or proper execution of the Contest.
