CHICAGO (AP) — The Kansas City Royals have recalled left-handed pitcher John Lamb from Triple-A Omaha to serve as the 26th man for Friday's day-night doubleheader against the Chicago White Sox.
Lamb has been dominating at Triple-A with a 9-1 record and 2.68 ERA in 15 starts. He leads the Pacific Coast League in wins and is third in strikeouts with 84 and fourth in ERA.
He has not appeared in a major league game.
