LAS VEGAS (AP) — A boat crash at Lake Mead has left one woman suffering from life-threatening injuries.
The Las Vegas Sun reports (http://bit.ly/1V7FslI ) that lake officials responded to the report of a crash at Sandy Beach Wednesday.
According to a National Park Service media release, a boat had struck another boat from behind.
A woman on the boat that was hit was transported to University Medical Center by helicopter. A man that had been in the boat with her was treated at the scene for minor injuries, and a third occupant was not injured.
The driver of the other boat was also uninjured.
Officials continue to investigate the crash.
