NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — Students and faculty from Beijing City University are being welcomed by Rivier University as part of a new partnership and biotechnology program at the New Hampshire school.

The partnership, established last summer, includes a course in applied biotechnology that will be team-taught by faculty members from both institutions. A professor from the Chinese university and 10 students recently arrived in Nashua and will be welcomed at a ceremony on Tuesday.

While in New Hampshire, the students will partner with 10 Rivier students, working together in the lab and rooming together in dorms. After the Rivier University part of the course, the entire group will travel to Beijing for the second half.
