TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Pre-enrollment for the 2015-2016 school year has begun for Tulsa Public Schools.
Television station KOTV reports (http://bit.ly/1IZ8Hhm ) officials are using an online enrollment system this year so parents don't have to go to the Enrollment Center to enroll their children.
Students who are new to Tulsa Public Schools, were not enrolled on the last day of the previous school year or moved out of their assigned school's boundary must pre-enroll during the summer.
School officials say parents may still enroll their children face-to-face. Over the next three weeks, officials will focus on specific age groups for in-person enrollment. Elementary students will be enrolled in the coming week, with middle school students enrolled July 20-24. High school students will be enrolled July 27-31.
The first day of classes is Aug. 20.
