IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Eastern Idaho law enforcement officials say a man was shot and critically wounded after he refused to cooperate with officers during a traffic stop.
Bonneville County sheriff's deputies were dispatched Monday morning after a report that a man had hit a pregnant woman multiple times and then taken off.
Deputies located the man they suspected of hitting the woman in his vehicle in Bonneville County.
According to a news release, the man was uncooperative, and police used both a non-lethal device and firearms against him. The man was taken to a hospital, where he was in critical condition late Monday.
Sheriff's Sgt. Jeff Edwards identified the man as 31-year-old Ricky L. Mosley of Idaho Falls.
