Make your life a little easier when it comes to grilling this summer. Whole Foods Market has the essential tips you need for grilling brats, steak and fruit.

Summer Grilling Tips with Lydia Martinez

Tips for Grilling Brats:

- Always boil them first! If you just pop them on a grill, the outside will burn before the inside is cooked.

- Use a flavorful liquid to pre-cook - from broth to juice to beer.

- Finish the brats on the grill and char lightly.

Tips for Grilling Steaks:

- Salt your steaks heavily 4-5 hours BEFORE you start grilling.

- Let them sit uncovered in the fridge until an hour before you are ready to begin cooking them.

- Bring your meat to room temperature before you toss it on the grill. Cold meat dries out fast.

- Let your meat rest for about 10 minutes before you serve it.

Tips for Grilling Fruit:

- You can grill peaches, apricots, cherries, watermelon, nectarines, pears and apples.

- Brush the fruit lightly with oil and a sprinkle of salt.

- Grill cut side down first for 2-3 minutes / side.

- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
