SALT LAKE CITY — The Fresno Grizzlies (37-24) powered their way to two wins against the Salt Lake Bees (26-36) Friday night at Smith's Ballpark.

In the first game - a completion of a rain-suspended game from April 24 - Fresno scored three runs in the 11th inning on the way to a 6-3 win. The Grizzlies got to Salt Lake pitching in the regularly scheduled game and took game two of the evening 9-2.

The first game began in the bottom of the tenth inning with a runner on first and two outs. Vinnie Pestano (0-1) was called upon to pitch the eleventh and gave up the winning run on a two-RBI double by Jon Singleton.

Tyler DeLoach (1-2) took the loss in the second game and was chased after just three and two-thirds innings, giving up eight runs (seven earned) on six hits while walking and striking out four, as the Bees dropped to a season-high ten games under .500. Marc Kraus continued his hot hitting, driving a home run - his third of the year - to deep right in the fourth. He lifted his average to .310 and has hit safely in 18 of his last 19 games. Kaleb Cowart brought home the only other run for the Bees, the first Triple-A RBI of his career, on a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning.

The Bees remain home for two more against Fresno on Saturday and Sunday before hitting the road for a seven-game road trip at Las Vegas and El Paso.

Saturday night's contest will start at 6:35 p.m. with a fireworks show to follow postgame.
