BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The Ada County Coroner's office has identified the body found in a southwestern Idaho canal.
Officials on Friday said 50-year-old Bonita Lynn Campbell died in the Ridenbaugh Canal. The coroner's office says the suspected cause of death is accidental drowning.
According to the autopsy, there were no obvious signs of trauma.
Boise police are still investigating what happened leading up to the body's discovery on Thursday.
Officials found Campbell after a citizen reported what appeared to be a submerged body in the canal. Police, firefighters and Ada County paramedics then recovered the body.
