BALTIMORE (AP) — A state grand jury has indicted all six officers charged in the case of the Baltimore man who died of severe injuries sustained while he was in custody. The most serious charges for each officer range from second-degree "depraved heart" murder to assault. The death of Freddie Gray resulted in protests and violent unrest.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — A long standoff is over in Charleston, South Carolina, where police say a man was killed by officers because he was intent on harming others or himself. The suspect was wanted for wounding a sheriff's deputy. Police say he broke into an apartment and made threatening comments during phone negotiations.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Federal prosecutors are conducting a review to determine if the engineer in last week's train crash in Philadelphia should face criminal charges. Lawyers say charges under review include reckless endangerment, involuntary manslaughter, third-degree murder and aggravated assault. The crash killed eight people.

GOLETA, Calif. (AP) — Thick, smelly crude oil coats rocks and sand, on California beaches just northwest of Santa Barbara. It's estimated that about 21,000 gallons of 105,000 gallons from a pipeline break made it to the sea. It split into slicks stretching 9 miles long. As of today, more than 7,700 gallons has been raked, skimmed and vacuumed up.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — B.B. King's eldest daughter says she'll host a free musical tribute event tomorrow at a Las Vegas Strip venue after a public viewing of her father's body at a funeral chapel. B.B. King died May 14 at his home in Las Vegas at age 89. Shirley King says she and fans are mourning, but she wants them come out and let the good times roll.
