CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Nevada lawmakers plan to review a measure that supporters say would make it easier for voters to take part in presidential elections. The measure would allow national political party heads to change Nevada's current caucus system for selecting a presidential candidate to a primary election.

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — The Nevada Senate has unanimously passed a bill allowing dying patients to try experimental drugs. The bill would allow patients with less than a year to live to use drugs that have cleared the first phase of federal government testing. Nevada could soon become to latest state with so-called "right to try" legislation and would follow 14 other states that have that passed similar legislation.

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Nevada lawmakers have approved a measure adopting tougher regulations for companies that extend high-interest short term loans to curb predatory lending for companies that extend payday loans or high interest short-term loans. The measure was amended to exempt companies that provide check-cashing services from the provisions in the bill.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kanye West is apologizing to TV viewers who saw his performance on the Billboard Music Awards. The rapper released a statement saying he was "grossly over-censored" during his performance on the show. He says some of his lyrics were muted for 30 seconds, which misrepresented his voice and performance. ABC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
