GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (AP) — The Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense are opening a new joint physical therapy clinic in Goose Creek.
The $800,000 clinic is being dedicated on Wednesday at the Joint Base Charleston-Naval Weapons Station. It will provide services to both active duty personnel as well as veterans.
The clinic is being staffed by two VA physical therapists, two physical therapy assistants and a medical services assistant.
The government says that the new clinic is designed to improve access to services with plenty of parking for patients.
