Camp Chef has an extensive line of quality outdoor cooking products. This year the company is celebrating their 25th anniversary of being in business. Ty says the core equipment that launched them into the business remains their most popular product: the Camp Chef two-burner stove. It now has many variations, and the line has expanded to include over 200 products including the original camp stoves, barbecue grills, pellet grills, smokers and a full line of cast-iron cookware, including Dutch ovens used in cook-offs. To really understand the versatility the company offers for outdoor cooking, Ty says you have to explore the line.
The great thing about this industry, Ty says, is outdoor products always have a market, even with competition. During the recession, people were still investing in the products as they stayed close to home. Camp Chef has grown to include 45 employees and now sells in every state across the U.S., including Alaska. They've also expanded internationally with customers in Canada and Europe. With such a dedicated customer base, Ty says it's always rewarding for the team to find someone who has been using their products for years and loves them.
