WESTON, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia college students will learn about leadership during a conference this week at Jackson's Mill.
The annual West Virginia Student Leadership Conference begins Monday and runs through Wednesday. More than 75 students from the state's two-year and four-year colleges and universities are expected to participate.
West Virginia Community and Technical College System chancellor James Skidmore says leadership and problem solving skills are essential for students entering today's workforce.
The system is a co-sponsor of the conference. Other co-sponsors are the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission and Shepherd University.
