LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police are seeking a suspect in the shooting death of a man found near a sidewalk east of Nellis Air Force Base.

Las Vegas police said Friday they found the man on the 4100 block of East Cheyenne in northeast Las Vegas shortly before 11 p.m. the night before.

Homicide investigators believe the man was walking in the area when he was shot. Police say the man later died at UMC Trauma.

Police say they haven't made any arrests in connection with the shooting.

Clark County's coroner office has not yet identified the man.
