PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Attorneys for Reed College depict a former student who is suing the school as someone who gave drugs to classmates and harassed an ex-girlfriend who accused him of sexual assault.

The Oregonian reports ( ) that the former student, identified as "John Doe" in court documents, sued Reed in U.S. District Court for wrongly expelling him and falsely labelling him a sex offender.

The school's lawyers say Doe was properly disciplined and expelled from Reed after admitting to using cocaine, violating the honor principal and providing alcohol, Xanax and ecstasy to other students.

They say Doe would have been expelled for his conduct even without taking the girl's accusations into account.

Attorneys also accuse Doe keeping a sexually explicit video of his ex-girlfriend until Reed ordered him to delete it.
