QUINCY, Massachusetts (WHDH) — A frantic father called 911 from a Massachusetts train Wednesday morning after he left his child in the car alone.

The father, who wanted his name withheld, said he dropped his older child off at daycare and forgot to bring his baby daughter to her in-home daycare. He boarded a train and 30 minutes later realized his mistake and called 911.

The father told the 911 dispatcher he forgot she was in the car and stayed on the line after giving the make and license plate number. Quincy Police contacted the MBTA Police, who dispatched two officers to find the car.
