UNDATED (AP) — Both casual and intense football fans are still debating the penalties handed out to the New England Patriots yesterday. Quarterback Tom Brady was suspended for the first four games of the season, the team was fined $1 million and was stripped of two draft picks for what has come to be called Deflategate. Brady's agent says his client will appeal the decision.

UNDATED (AP) — The two top seeds in the NBA playoffs got much needed wins last night. The Hawks shot down the Wizards 106-101 to even up that best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal at two wins apiece, and the Warriors stopped the Grizzlies 101-84 to even that series at 2-2 as well.

UNDATED (AP) — The Clippers are looking to secure a spot in the NBA's Western Conference final tonight. They top the Rockets 3-1 in their best-of-seven series, and this evening's game is in Houston. Also on tap tonight, Game 5 in the Cleveland-Chicago Eastern Conference series, which is tied at two wins apiece.

TAMPA (AP) — The Tampa Bay Lightning will once again attempt to close out their best-of-seven series with the Canadiens this evening. After winning the first three games of the series, the Lightning have dropped the last two. With a win tonight they would advance to the Eastern Conference final, while a win by Montreal would force a deciding seventh game on the Canadiens' home ice Thursday.

MONTCLAIR, N.J. (AP) — Yogi Berra turns 90 today. The baseball Hall of Famer is celebrating his birthday at the museum that honors his career at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. Berra was a three-time American League MVP with the Yankees and the winner of 10 World Series rings.
