Tooele deputies investigate death at reservoir campsite

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Tooele County deputies are investigating a Lehi man's death near Grantsville Reservoir.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1AQvysg ) that campers found the body of 57-year-old Larry Eldon Ray Saturday evening. A medical examiner has yet to determine how he died.

Tooele County Sheriff's Lt. Travis Scharmann says deputies found a man who was seen getting into Ray's vehicle about 1 a.m. Sunday and booked him into the Tooele County Jail under suspicion of witness tampering and vehicle burglary. Investigators have yet to determine whether he has any connection to Ray or his death.
