DALLAS (AP) — Thunderstorms and severe weather have forced significant delays and cancellations at both Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport.
More than 100 flights at both airports were canceled today.
A ground stop at DFW has been lifted. But flights leaving and landing at DFW Airport have been delayed by an average of about 1 hour, according to flight tracking website FlightAware. The airport is a key hub for American Airlines.
Flights headed to Dallas Love Field airport, which primarily serves Southwest Airlines, were being held at their airports of origin for much of the morning. Arrivals at Love Field were being delayed an average of about 30 minutes.
