COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — The funeral for slain police Sgt. Greg Moore will begin Saturday morning in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
The 43-year-old Moore was shot and killed early Tuesday morning in Coeur d'Alene while on patrol.
Court records say 26-year-old Jonathan D. Renfro admitted to the crime during an interview with law officers. He has been charged with first degree murder.
Services for Moore will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Lake City High School in Coeur d'Alene. The memorial will be open to the public.
After the service, a lengthy procession of law enforcement vehicles will accompany Moore's body to Forest Cemetery.
The internment services are private and only family and law enforcement officers will be allowed.
