PARK CITY, Utah (AP) — Park City police seized 54 pounds of marijuana hidden in the floor of a van during a traffic stop on Interstate 80.
KSL-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1H3IFuR ) that the car was pulled over Thursday morning by an officer police say was specially trained to spot vehicles that might be transporting drugs through the state.
A K-9 officer indicated that there were drugs in the rented California van and officers found the hidden compartment in the floor.
Park City Police Department Capt. Phil Kirk says the drugs were worth about $70,000.
He says it is one of the larger drugs busts Park City police have made.
