PARK CITY, Utah (AP) — A bear has been spotted in a residential area east of Salt Lake City for the second time this week.
KSL-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1P3vEbY ) that Park City Police Department video shows a black bear roaming yards and investigating trees near the Park Meadows neighborhood around 8:30 Wednesday night.
Several bear sightings were reported throughout the night.
Officers say they are tracking the bear, which was last seen at 5 a.m. Thursday.
They hope to safely contain the animal and have the Division of Wildlife Resources relocate it to a safer area.
Another bear was found about 11 miles north of Park City in Jeremy Ranch earlier this week.
Officers have asked anyone who sees a bear in a residential area to call police.
