HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — Heavy rain and flooding have damaged a building at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.

Cleanup continued Friday at the Recreational Sports Center after a glass wall collapsed due to high water.

Authorities say nobody was hurt in Thursday afternoon's accident. School officials say drains became backed up during the storms, causing water to pool along the glass and the wall eventually give way. The water flooded parts of the building.

The recreational center remains closed amid the cleanup.

Some apartment flooding was also reported late Thursday in Huntsville, about 50 miles north of Houston.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for the Houston area through early Saturday.
