IRVING, Texas (AP) — A North Texas high school teacher already facing a criminal charge accusing her of an inappropriate relationship with a male student has been charged in a separate, similar case.
Twenty-four-year-old Kaitlyn Renee Granado was arrested Monday on a felony count of having an improper relationship between an educator and student. She was charged last month in a separate improper relationship case.
In the latest case, an affidavit obtained by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram (http://bit.ly/1CYa6l5) says a male sophomore at MacArthur High School in Irving reported having sex with Granado on two January consecutive nights in a car in front of a house in Dallas.
She's free on $50,000 bond.
Irving school district officials say Granado remains on administrative leave.
It was not clear from records if Granado has an attorney.
